Throughout the 2023–25 World Test Championship (WTC) cycle, India will compete in a total of 19 Test matches. Along with a lone Test match, they will play two home series, two away series, and four total series.

• West Indies against. India, 2 Tests, July 12–24, 2023

• India's matches against England (5 Tests) 

• Bangladesh (2 Tests) will both take place in 2024.


"Away Series"


• South Africa vs. India, two tests, December 26, 2023–January 8, 2024

•Australia vs. India (5 Tests): November 20, 2024–December 29, 2024


One-off Test


• Afghanistan versus. India (1 Test)



India will be aiming to outperform their results from the previous WTC cycle, where they came in second place to New Zealand. On paper, they have a formidable team with a balanced assault and a lineup that can produce large runs.


With all of the best Test teams vying for the championship, the WTC 2025 will be a tough competition. If India can play to their capabilities, they will be optimistic about their chances.
